Outside Lecturer at the Department for Modern and Contemporary History at RWTH Aachen University

MPA-ES Module: History of European Integration

Dr. Ines Soldwisch wrote her dissertation at Rostock University about the History of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in Eastern Germany/Mecklenburg 1946-1952 receiving a scholarship from the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation. Since 2002 she is an anchorwoman and research speaker at the International Academy for Leadership (Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation). From 2004 to 2006 she worked as a research assistant at the European Parliament in Brussels. Since 2006 Dr. Soldwisch is a research assistant at the Department for Modern and Contemporary History at RWTH Aachen University. Her teaching and research focusses on Contemporary (post-1945) Western European History, European Integration History, European Parliament, Liberalism and East-German-History. Since 2008 Dr. Soldwisch is an outside lecturer at the Department for Modern and Contemporary History at RWTH Aachen University. In 2018 she received her habilitation and her venia legendi for the subject Modern and Contemporary History.
